The premiere screening at The Swedish Church in London on the 27th of October was a big milestone for us. It was great to meet the audience and to receive such lovely feedback. We are immensely grateful for the support we have received from The Swedish Church in London, The Anglo-Swedish Society and SWEA London. A special thanks to film director Jonas Grimås for moderating the event.
On the 27th October producer and director Andreas Lindström together with co-producer and researcher Emelie Hill Dittmer will tell us about their ongoing project.
Screening of the first documentary where we will meet Tommy Franzén, dancer & choreographer. Also preview part 2 with Maria Smedstad, cartoonist & illustrator. Trailer of part 3 with Pernilla Iggström, artist & curator.
After the screenings there will be a panel discussion with Tommy, Maria, Pernilla, Andreas and Emelie.
There will also be information about the cultural scholarships from the three organisations - Anglo-Swedish Society, SWEA London and the Swedish Church in London.
Andreas Lindström and Emelie Hill Dittmer have recieved scholarships from all three organisations.
The screening will be held at the Swedish Church in London, 6 Harcourt Street, W1H 4AG.
Bar opens at 7pm, selling Swedish Hot Dogs, sweets, crisps and drinks.
The screening will be in Swedish with English subtitles.

In August 2014 Nordic Folksong received a grant from the Thora Ohlsson Cultural Fund through the Swedish Church in London
SWEA London (Swedish Women’s Educational Association) has awarded a Culture grant for 2013 to the Nordic Folksong project. Emelie and Andreas attended the annual ceremonial dinner and presentation.
